J. WARNER IDE
Mr. Ide serves on the Board of Directors and as President of MPSC, Inc. and its international subsidiaries. Mr. Ide initially came to MPSC as an investor and consultant, and later held positions of Executive Vice President and Vice President-Operations of MPSC. He was responsible for raising capital during the early years of R&D, and subsequently managed MPSC's Latin American operations. Prior to MPSC, Mr. Ide worked in manufacturing and as a marketing consultant to Fortune 500 clients. Mr. Ide graduated from Dartmouth College
RUSSELL T. LUND III
CEO of Lund Food Holdings, Inc., Mr. Lund serves on MPSC's Board of Directors and is owner of the Minnesota-based prestigious Byerlys, Lunds and Rick's Market food stores. Mr. Lund is a boardmember of FMI (Food Marketing Institute), and is a shareholder of MPSC, providing key support to MPSC through his intimate understanding of the retail side of the meat industry. Mr. Lund is a graduate of Montana State University.
DWIGHT F. PACKARD
Mr. Packard is an independent consultant to the meat industry, and is a shareholder and member of MPSC's Board of Directors. He has held senior and executive positions in beef, pork and processed meat companies for more than 20 years, including Vice President of Operations, Armour Food Company, Vice President of Beef Operations, Excel Corp., and Executive Vice President of Operations and Partner, Farmland National Beef Packing Co., L.P. His began his career as a production line meat cutter.
Mr. Packard's responsibilities have included production, Q.A, human resources, engineering, food safety, workplace safety, environmental compliance, purchasing. He also served as primary senior contact with federal, state and local regulators. He has traveled to most of the major meat producing and meat consuming countries and is familiar with the dynamics of export markets.
JOHN E. MARLETTE
A resident of Australia since 1997 and a shareholder since late 1994, Mr. Marlette is Managing Director of MPSC Australia, LTD Pty. Mr. Marlette holds an MBA from Northwestern Universitys Kellogg Graduate School of Management with a double major in International Finance and in International Marketing, and is a graduate of Dartmouth College. Prior to coming to MPSC, Mr. Marlette spent seven years working for IBM (Chicago) in sales and marketing.
WILLIAM MARTIN
Mr. Martin started out 40-plus years ago as a slaughterman, where he developed expertise in meat slaughterhouse operations working for many well-known meat companies including Packerland Packing, Inc., Green Bay Dressed Beef, Inc. and Long Prairie Packing Co. He founded and operated PM Processing, Juda Wisconsin for several years before coming to MPSC as MPSC's Director of Field Operations. In his capacity with MPSC Mr. Martin is responsible for in-plant training, slaughter-floor operations and overseeing the physical application of MPSC technology in each plant start-up.
DR. MICHAEL M. PULLEN, D.V.M., M.S., M.P.V.M., DACVPM
Professor, University of Minnesota's College of Veterinary Medicine and Department of Clinical Population and Sciences. An eight year USDA-FSIS employee and former FSIS International HACCP Advisor, Dr. Pullen brings particular expertise to his consulting clients in the areas of food safety, public health and epidemiology. He has authored or co-authored several critical research studies at the University of Minnesota and Kansas State University. Dr. Pullen is MPSC's primary scientific consultant.
JEFF CRANE
Mr. Crane is the Manager of Operations and Engineering for MPSC Australia. He has been associated with MPSC's Australian operations since the first commercial installation in 1997. Mr. Crane has primary responsibility for
implementation and improvement of MPSC engineering and technology throughout Australia. He offers ongoing technical support and continual improvement to all MPSC plants. Mr. Crane trained in control systems and instrumentation in the electricity industry in New Zealand. Prior to joining MPSC, he also gained experience in automation product sales, customer technical support and plant installation in the United Kingdom and Australia.
JEFF S. DIETZ
Mr. Dietz is the Controller of MPSC. His responsibilities include finance, accounting, purchasing, inventory, and human resources. Before MPSC he had 13 years of Controller and finance experience at GE, McKee Floor Covering, and Reliakor. Mr. Dietz received his finance degree from Minnesota State University-Mankato. He is also continuing his education with an MBA from St. Thomas. Mr. Dietz grew up on a dairy and beef farm in central Minnesota. He also maintains an interest in the Charolais genetics with his Dad.
ING. ULISES PARDO ARCHE
Mr. Pardo holds the position of Sr. Manager, Engineering & Customer Support and has worked with MPSC since 1997. He has worked in the beef industry in various engineering, maintenance and plant management capacities, including the largest beef packing company in Mexico, Grupo Viz. Mr. Pardo holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and has significant expertise and experience in beef plant maintenance and new projects management, construction, refrigeration, mechanical engineering & design, electrical, control systems, programming & software. At MPSC Ingeniero Pardo is responsible for production operations management, file maintenance, customer support, field installation project management, training, and compliance.
RANDALL W. RADER
Mr. Rader serves as Vice President - Operations of MPSC, Inc. with primary responsibility for implementation and improvement of MPSC operations throughout North America as well to assist Internationally. Mr. Rader has held various leadership roles from Janitor to President at FSN Consultants, IBP Inc., and Creekstone Farms LLC. He held these positions in beef, pork, and processed meats operations over the last 30 years to include Operations/Quality Management, Engineering/Automation, Program Management, Organizational and Business Development. Mr. Rader is a listed inventor on several patents. His passion is to improve the future of the meat industry through innovation.
